- Step 1 – Contact us to schedule an appointment time with our orthodontist to discuss your braces treatment goals and options as well as treatment planning.
- Step 2 – During your consultation, our orthodontist will make teeth impressions for study models and take X-rays for Orthodontic Analysis and Advanced Treatment Planning. This plan will outline the specific movements and adjustments needed to achieve the desired results.
- Step 3 – Before your braces are placed, additional dental work, such as cleanings, fillings, or wisdom tooth extractions may be required.
- Step 4 – Orthodontist bonds your new braces to your teeth and give you thorough suggestions on oral hygiene during your orthodontic treatment.
- Step 5 – You will need to visit your dentist once a month dental braces adjustment such as having O-ring replaced (for metal braces) or wire changed/tighten as well as any other necessary adjustments.
- Step 6 – Once your teeth are properly aligned as the treatment was planned, your orthodontist will remove your fixed braces appliances and make retainers for you. Retainers keep your teeth in their newly aligned position and prevent teeth relapsing.
